Portra 400 - A Film Simulation Inspired by ChatGPT
A few months ago, I asked ChatGPT to make me a Fujifilm film simulation. I wasn’t particularly impressed with the results. But now that AI is maturing, I asked it again this morning before going out for an afternoon walk. I was much more impressed with the results. I did not ask it for a particular film simulation, so it chose a Portra 400 inspired recipe.
Using my Fujifilm X-H2, I photographed the old pine forest of Vlore, Albania for my test photos.
The example images included in this post are SOOC (straight out of camera) JPEGs and the colors have not been edited in post. I don’t edit the photos because I want to give my readers realistic expectations of what they can expect from the recipe.
