Powder Grain - Free Preset

After creating several JPEG recipes for the Ricoh GR III, I was starting to feel a little limited by the options offered by the Ricoh so I decided to expand my experimentation to presets. This week I created a free preset which can be used with JPEG and RAW files from any camera. You can download the free preset using the button below.

Just so you know, I didn’t edit the photos after applying the preset in Lightroom. I know many people use presets as a base layer before editing their photos further, but it was important to me to create the preset in a way that was as close to a film recipe as possible. You can achieve a similar look by applying this preset to all of your photos and immediately exporting, no further editing required.

This is the first preset I’ve ever created, so I’m not super familiar with the process. The downloadable file is in the “.xmp” file format. Please let me know if you encounter any problems.
